How do I get started?

Sign up for a free consult to get started with your training.

Do you take insurance?

No. Lindsey is the sole practitioner and LMTs only recover 33-50% on average of the total billing when billed through insurance.

Do you accept tips?

No. In Washington State, body work/massage falls under the health care umbrella, just like a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, M.D., etc.

What if I’m late or miss my session?

If you are late for a session, that time will cut into the total time allotted for the session. If you need to cancel, please email, call, or text at least 24 hours prior to scheduled massage. A cancellation within 24 hours will incur full cost of massage.

How should I prepare for a consult or body work session?

Please exercise good hygiene. There are showers at the Seattle facility, and we’ll ask you to use them if you are sweaty from a workout (our Bellingham practice does not have shower access). Please also abstain from drugs or alcohol before a session.

Can I workout before or after my massage?

We encourage clients to do what feels best. If your body is beat up and you’re coming into the session with some pain/discomfort, working out before the session is not optimal. Regardless, we encourage our clients to mobilize, breathe, and move post session.

What should I wear for body work?

You are free to disrobe down to your comfort level. You will be appropriately draped for the entirety of the session. It is paramount to me that you are comfortable and able to relax on the table. Underwear/briefs are recommended for body work sessions, and potentially a sports bra for women.
